About Us

It all began with our famous allergen free Choc Mud Cake, and it was made just for a smile.

Picture this scene. A kid’s birthday and a huge frosted chocolate cake festooned with candles is waltzed into the room. Happy Birthday is being sung with gusto and the kids are laughing and excited. It’s so familiar and pleasing for all of us to remember.

But then you notice the child who isn’t getting any cake, and he has to explains to others about his food allergy.

Well, this scenario really happened, and was the powerful motivation for creating the Something Good baking mixes you can enjoy today. Eating together is one of the basic social functions for humans. Being able to enjoy good food with your family and friends, regardless of special diet requirements, is our goal.

This simple idea is the heart of our company, and it’s the reason we continue to innovate and develop new baking mixes and recipes.

Our Facility

We have a development and manufacturing plant which is unique in Australia. It was built brand new to never be used for product which contain commonly know allergens. We adopt continual improvement practices, and quality assurance practices. We consistently lab test to ensure we are allergen free, to the most stringent levels (eg Gluten residue 3 ppm (parts per million).

Industrial manufacturing and blending

We undertake contract blending on a massive scale for other companies. We are the ‘name behind the name’ of some of Australia’s favourite and most respected brands.

Consultancy and Product development

We have such a depth of industry knowledge and skill in the blending and baking industry, that we are able to develop new and innovative products on a consultancy basis. We also offer troubleshooting services to many of industry colleagues and partners.
